Individual

Clients work one-on-one with a personal trainer to develop a progressive exercise plan tailored to the individual client.

Students

  • 5 sessions: $120
  • 10 sessions: $230

Members

  • 5 sessions: $145

  • 15 sessions: $405

Partner

Clients have the opportunity to work with a partner as the personal trainer leads you both through structured workouts together.

Learning

Equipment Orientation

Personal trainers will educate and help you get acquainted with the most popular strength, cardio and flexibility equipment that the ARC and CRCE offer to ensure your safety while you start your workout routine.

Consultation

This one-hour session gives you the opportunity to discuss your current fitness program with a personal trainer. This session will take place in the ARC Wellness Suite.

Assessment

Standard

This assessment includes blood pressure, resting heart rate, height, weight, body mass index, flexibility, and hip to waist ratio.

  • Students: $30

Strength and Cardio

This assessment includes submaximal cardiovascular test and submaximal strength/endurance test.

Specialty

This assessment includes a functional movement screening and in-body scan for body composition.

How to Register

Body
  1. Go to the Personal Training Intake Registration on Active Illini.
  2. “Add to Cart” and follow the prompts through the registration/checkout process.
  3. Complete the Health History Questionnaire (located in the program description on Active Illini).
  4. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email from the Personal Training program regarding your registration. Please email personaltraining@illinois.edu if you have further questions about the registration process.
  5. Your initial session (session #1) will include a specialty assessment, goal setting and equipment orientation. Your Personal Trainer will assist you with purchasing a PT package at Member Services.

Late/Cancellation Policy

We require 24-hour notice to cancel your appointment. If you fail to do so, you forfeit one personal training session. When a client is late, it must be communicated with the Personal Trainer and the client forfeits the time lost.

Refund Policy

All personal training packages expire one year after the purchase date. Refunds are at the discretion of the Assistant Director of Fitness Programs. Documentation must be provided for a refund for an injury or illness. Personal training packages are non-transferrable and are not pro-rated.
