BODYCOMBAT™ (45-minute class)

BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi, and muay thai.

BODYSTEP™ (45-minute class)

In BODYSTEP you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with squat and lunge patterns to work the legs. Combine this with movements like burpees, push-ups and weight plate exercises, and the result is a fun, uplifting, full-body workout! Don’t worry, there’s heaps of options so that everyone leaves feeling successful.

Cycling Options

Cycle * (45-minute class)

Our indoor cycling classes start with a 5-8 minute warm-up of easy pedaling and focus on proper technique. Once the class starts be prepared to ride your way through rolling hills, steep climbs, false flats, sprints, and much more! Limited spots available. Please call ahead to reserve your spot.

RPMTM  Virtual workout (45-minute class)

With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly spin the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness

SPRINTTM  Virtual workout (30-minute class)

A 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike. It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. A high intensity, low impact workout.

Rhythmic/Dance Fitness Options

Zumba (45-minute class)

Check out the dance craze that is sweeping the nation! Inspired by Latin dance and music, Zumba uses a variety of styles in its routines, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, hip-hop, pop, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow dance moves! No dance experience required.

BARRE (45-minute class)

Barre seamlessly weaves together traditional muscle-sculpting dance choreography with exhilarating cardio segments to define and challenge the body in a whole new way.  Take your fitness to a new level!  

High Intensity Options

BODYATTACK™ (45-minute class)

BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone toward their fitness goals – from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

Circuit (45-minute class)

Circuit is a fast-paced full body workout combining strength and aerobic training. An exercise is performed for as many reps as possible in a specified time-frame before rotating to the next exercise. Music is used in the background to motivate and the instructor will let you know when to rotate.

HIIT (45-minute class)

Dare to sweat? High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is proven to improve aerobic and anaerobic fitness levels. This express class is based on segments of interval training—maximum effort for a designated amount of time and a rest period to follow before repeating. This is a challenging workout for those who are looking to take their training up a notch.

Core Conditioning (30-minute class)

This 30-minute class is all about strengthening and stabilizing the muscles of the core. Exercises will target the muscles of the torso including the abdominals, obliques, back, hips and glutes.

GRIT™ Virtual Class (30-minute class)

GRIT™ is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

Mind/Body Options

Iyengar Yoga (45-minute class)

Iyengar yoga is based on the teachings of yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar and includes three distinguishing characteristics. (1) Emphasis on body alignment. This protects the joints, muscles, organs and tissues of the body. Our body is stressed by everything from sports to everyday life. Concentration on alignment relieves these stresses and promotes health. (2) Props. The use of props allows for better alignment and makes Iyengar yoga accessible to everyone no matter what your current condition or age. You do not have to be flexible or in shape to enjoy class. (3) Teaching method. Instruction is clear and easy to understand. These elements, unique to Iyengar yoga, make yoga available to all ages, beginners and experienced practitioners. Classes will help build strength, stamina, flexibility and balance, and lead to a better sense of well-being.

Yoga (45-minute class)

Hatha classes place emphasis on physical alignment, understanding of correct anatomical movement, and various deep relaxation techniques. It increases strength, flexibility, and awareness of the body, developing more healthful movement; relaxations techniques help with stress more effectively. Classes are open to student questions or requests, and vary from week to week.

BODYFLOW™ (45-minute class)

BODYFLOW™is acombination of Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates. This workout builds flexibility and strengthens your body all while leaving you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Vinyasa Yoga (45-minute class)

Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like.

Pilates (45-minute class)

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise. These classes are designed to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility with emphasis on breath and mind/muscle connection. While these movements tend to focus on the core, Pilates incorporates exercises that work other areas of the body, giving all major groups a challenge.

Strength Options

BODYPUMP™ * (45-minute class)

BODYPUMP™, the original LES MILLS™ barbell class, will sculpt, tone, and strengthen your entire body, fast! 

Strength (45-minute class)

You’ll experience a full-body strength workout that utilizes the beat of the music to motivate you to have fun while increasing your muscular strength and endurance.

TRX(45-minute class)

TRX is a suspension trainer that leverages gravity and body weight to create challenging exercises that engage major muscle groups. This class is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop balance, flexibility, core stability, and strength.

Water Options

Cardio H2O (45-minute class)

Join us for an exhilarating workout combining cardio and strength in the water! You’ll leave feeling refreshed and empowered.

DWE Aqua Fit (45-minute class)

Increase muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness with minimal impact on joints. Buoyancy belts are provided. Some swim experience is preferred, as your feet will not touch the bottom of the pool (12-ft deep).

LesMills Virtual Classes (NEW)

* All LesMills Virtual Classes will be scheduled in MP2 or the Cycling Studio at the ARC. You must register for classes via the campus recreation website or CSI app. No drop-in participants are permitted. Classes have a cap of 10-12 participants. If you are provided a waitlist number you are welcome to come wait in line to take the spot of any registered person that no call/ no shows. A fitness host will welcome and admit patrons and get them set-up for the livestream class. They will clean and return equipment at the end of class.

CXWORX™ Virtual workout

Hone in on your core and improve your functional fitness in this hour-long hybrid class! We begin with 30 minutes of CXWORX, a Les Mills core-training workout that uses body weight, resistance tubing, and small weights to tighten and tone your midsection (participants must have their own LMOD account to participate). Once we’ve fired up the core stabilizing muscles, we take things down a notch with some stretching and strengthening yoga (using pre-recorded videos) to build strength and improve flexibility – both keys to injury prevention. This foundational workout is great for anyone looking to build their core strength or take their athletic training to the next level!
