Get moving and purchase a group fitness pass at Campus Rec! We offer unique, fun, and motivating classes for all fitness interests and levels. Class types include cardio, cycling, rhythmic/dance, high intensity, mind/body, strength, water, and Les Mills!

Passes and Schedule

Group fitness passes can be purchased in Active Illini. You must be logged into your Active Illini profile in order to view available passes. The group fitness class schedule can also be accessed in Active Illini. For a calendar view of the schedule, view the PDF schedule schedule or download the Active Illini mobile and tap on “Group Fitness.”

How to Register for a Class

You will need an active membership and be a group fitness pass holder in order to confirm your reservation.

  1. Login to the Active Illini web portal
  2. Click the button on the top left corner of the screen to expand the menu
  3. Click on “Group Fitness” and then “Group Fitness Schedule”
  4. Select the class that you are interested in joining
  5. Click the “Register” button for the instance of the class you want to join

Cancel Your Class Reservation

Please cancel your reservation at least two hours before the start of class in order to open a space for another member.

  1. Login to the Active Illini web portal
  2. Click your user profile on the top right corner of your screen and click “Profile”
  3. Click “Programs” to bring up your program reservations and select the program reservation you wish to cancel
  4. Choose “Yes, cancel registration”

Safety Guidelines

Work out at an intensity that is comfortable for your fitness level. Classes are not a competition – please work towards your own personal goals.

  • Have your i-card
    • The group fitness instructor will verify your registration before entering
  • Class capacities
    • Class sizes will be limited based on space and equipment availability
  • Bring plenty of water
  • Pre-registration is not required, however it is the only way to guarantee your spot in class
  • Pre-registered participants will be forfeit their spot if they’re not present 5 minutes prior to the start of class
  • Patrons are not allowed to enter a class 5 minutes after the scheduled starting time
