Active Illini is your portal to Campus Recreation at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! Manage your memberships, register for programs, reserve spaces, purchase passes and more!
In order to better serve our patrons, we have launched Active Illini, an online platform where you can view information and manage your experiences at Campus Rec. You can access Active Illini via the online portal or download the mobile app (via Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Please note that our old web platform, CSI, is no longer available.
How to Login or Register for an Account
Active Illini is connected to your university account. Click “Login” and then “UIN Login.” Login using your campus NetID and password. You will be prompted to two-factor authenticate through Shibboleth.
Current and New Community Members
If you are not affiliated with the university, fill out the form below to register for an account. You will receive an email within 48 hours with login credentials. Then, you can login through the “Community” button under “Login.”
Once logged in, you can access your user profile by clicking on your name/picture in top right corner of the screen. This will take you to a landing page to access all information associated with your membership.

Who do I contact with questions about accessing Active Illini or the details of my Active Illini profile?

What happens to my or my family member’s current registration for the summer Learn to Swim program?
If you or your family member is registered for summer Learn to Swim, you do not need to take any action. Registration information has been transferred to your Active Illini account. If you have any questions, please contact email@example.com.
Will my current group fitness pass transfer to Active Illini?
Yes. There is no need to purchase another pass. If you have a group fitness pass and your Active Illini membership information does not reflect that, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Will I continue to register for intramural activities through IMLeagues?
No. All program registration, including intramural activities, will shift to Active Illini. Questions can be directed to email@example.com. Fall activities will be posted to Active Illini in late summer.
When will I be able to register for fall programs?
Fall programs will be uploaded to Active Illini in mid-August.
