Registered Student Organizations

All organizations are required to register their events.  To submit a space request:

  1. Access the Involved@Illinois platform.
  2. In the upper right-hand corner next to your initials or profile pic, click on the nine dots in a square and select Manage.  
  3. Click your organization.  
  4. On your RSO profile page, click on the three lines to the left of your organization’s name and select Events.  
  5. Once on the Manage Events page, click on + Create Event in the upper right-hand corner.  
  6. Complete the form in its entirety.  
  7. All student organizations will be required to complete this form for their events and space requests.  
  8. An important addition is that of the Safety Management Plan (Safety Protocol).  
  9. Do not cut and paste Safety Management Plan questions and answers.
  10. Just insert information from your organization on how you will maintain the safety of the event attendees.

These will be reviewed and forwarded to the corresponding facility.

Private Ice Base Rental Rates

  • UI students/members: $100/hour
  • UI departments: $155/hour
  • Local schools: $155/hour
  • Public group or non-member: $250/hour
    (during prime time)

Please Note: The Ice Arena facility rental fee does not include the following: broomball equipment rental, skate rental, or private party fee for additional staff depending on number of skaters.

Skating Option:

  • Base rental rates above
  • $2 per individual or cheaper flat rate for larger parties
  • Additional staffing fees
    • 20 skaters or less: $15/hr
    • 21-30 skaters: $30/hr
    • 31-50 skaters: $45/hr
    • 51-75 skaters: $60/hr
    • 75-100 skaters: $75/hr
    • 100+ skaters: $100/hr

Broomball Option:

  • Base rental rates above
  • $25 broomball equipment fee
