Learn to climb today!

Participants will learn and practice fundamental climbing techniques, climbing gear use, climbing wall operations and expectations, and everything else needed to safely climb at a gym. Topics include balance and posture, what to look for in your harness and shoes, various hand positions, route difficulty ratings, and more. Staff will provide personal coaching and everyone will have time to practice. If you’ve never learned the fundamentals or if you’ve never climbed, this class is for you. No climbing knowledge or gear is required. The final class will focus on instruction specific to the top-rope belay endorsement. All participants will receive the top-rope belay endorsement at the session’s conclusion.
