The Climbing Wall has open climb hours as well as climbing clinics, birthday parties, and group reservations. Prior climbing/belay experience is preferred but not required. 
Gear Rentals take place at the Outdoor Center (ODC), formerly known as the Campus Bike Center. Patrons are able to rent outdoor equipment like tents, sleeping bags, kayaks, and more! 
Students may apply to work at the climbing wall, the ODC, or both. It is not a requirement to work both positions.

Student Positions

Climbing Wall CSA

Assist with operation of the climbing wall
CSAs demonstrate proper safety and training techniques to patrons 
Belay patrons and lead new-climber orientations
Operate Point of Sale
Supervise the climbing wall
Assist with birthday parties and wall rentals
CSAs may have promotional opportunities to work as an Instructor or Route Setter
This is a security-sensitive position and requires completion of a background check before beginning work

Gear Rentals CSA

Assist patrons at the Outdoor Center (ODC) with outdoor equipment rentals and gear reservations
Operate Point of Sale
Organize and sanitize outdoor equipment
