Challenge Course

The Outdoor and Adventure Recreation Challenge Course program is built to help your team reach its full potential while allowing for personal growth and increased confidence.

We serve UIUC students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding communities, including non-profits, businesses, municipal, and state agencies. Instead of a more lecture-based approach, we stimulate growth and thinking through team-building, purposeful activities, icebreakers, and leadership development workshops.

Our instructors are specifically trained to assist in helping you work through problems and challenges that may require a different approach. We specialize in carefully planned activities with thoughtful debriefs to allow for change-based reflection. Our program is dedicated to building on the fundamental skills you already have in order to learn and grow as a high-functioning team, such as:

  • Leadership
  • Trust
  • Communication
  • Creative Problem Solving
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Reflection

Virtual Community Building Programs

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking this opportunity to bring the challenge course onto a digital platform. In our ZOOM-based program, facilitators will guide group development activities that connect people and build community from games to thought-provoking escape rooms. All programs will be tailored to meet your specific goals. Programs last 1 to 2 hours and can hold up to 40 people per session.

Mobile Teambuilding Programs

Just like the name implies, we will bring the challenge course to you by facilitating group development activities at your location choice within the Champaign-Urbana area. Additional costs may be evaluated depending on location if outside of the vicinity of UIUC. All programs will be tailored to meet your specific goals. Programs last 1 to 2 hours and can hold up to 50 people per session.

Low Ropes Course Programs (coming soon!)

We guide your group through a sequence of events that include icebreaker activities, problem-solving initiatives, and adventure-based low course elements. You can expect to get to know group members quickly, find a sense of trust and cooperation, and create an atmosphere of teamwork. All programs will be tailored to meet your specific goals. Programs last 2 to 5 hours depending on group’s preference and can hold up to 100 people per session.

Pricing (Virtual programs at a lower price through July 31!)
